Abstraksi
Dimulai Maret 2016 saya mendapatkan beasiwa dari Sajogyo Institute untuk melakukan penelitian di sebuah desa ujung Kalimantan Barat yang letaknya berdekatan dengan perbatasan Kalimantan Tengah. Tepatnya Desa Nanga Potai, Kecamatan Sokan Kabupaten Melawi.

Metode yang digunakan adalah live in, membangun peran sosial serta melakukan pengorganisasian. Desa ini terletak diantara dua wilayah yakni konsesi perkebunan sawit dan konservasi/hutan lindung. Ditengah kegamangan wilayah, di dalam desa sendiri terdapat rongrongan penambangan emas tanpa izin yang telah berlangsung selama puluhan
tahun.
