Sore itu aku bertemu tubuh keduaku,
Kami bercakap-cakap hampir empat jam,
tentang sungai, patin sawit, tanah retak,
pohon kertas, buaya muara danau semandut,
tengkawang hilang,
bouksit dan kaleng-kaleng,
longsor dan bendungan karung
anak anak mati di lubang batubara

Sore itu aku bertemu tubuh keduaku,
Kami bercakap-cakap tengah hari hingga senja,
Tentang ladang,
roh-roh tanah
festival kampung
ekonomi tanding
Ketekunan belajar
supermarket alam
sabun minyak kelapa
dan bertanam jejak hutan
Sore itu aku bertemu tubuh keduaku, tanah air.
